On March 28, 2024, Xiaomi officially launched sales of its first car, the SU7, in China. This all-electric sedan is available in multiple variants and can be pre-ordered at 59 stores across 29 cities in the country.
At the initial launch, the Xiaomi SU7 is offered in two versions, with the Xiaomi SU7 Pro set to be released at the end of May:
- Base version: This version has rear-wheel drive, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.28 seconds, has a top speed of 210 km/h, and offers a range of approximately 700 km. Just 15 minutes of charging provides 350 km of travel. It also features the Xiaomi Pilot Pro autopilot system.
- SU7 Pro: Also featuring rear-wheel drive, this version has an acceleration time of 5.7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed of 210 km/h. Its range is extended to 830 km, and a 15-minute charge offers 570 km of travel. The SU7 Pro is equipped with the Xiaomi Pilot Max autopilot system.

Additionally, there is a Max version available, which offers all-wheel drive, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a speedy 2.78 seconds, has a top speed of 264 km/h, and provides a range of up to 800 km. A 15-minute charge gives 510 km of travel. The Xiaomi Pilot Max autopilot system is also included in this version.
The Xiaomi SU7 operates on Xiaomi’s proprietary HyperOS operating system, which seamlessly integrates with other Xiaomi devices. It also supports Apple AirPlay and CarPlay for iPhone users. The car features a digital dashboard with a 7.1-inch screen and a 16.1-inch multimedia touchscreen display. The audio system consists of 15 speakers with Dolby Atmos support, ensuring high-quality sound.
In terms of pricing, the base version of the Xiaomi SU7 starts at $30,000, while the SU7 Pro is priced at $34,000. The advanced Max configuration is available for $41,000.
