These motorcycles offer unique features that set them apart from other electric bikes on the market.
The S222 Supermot is designed for urban use, while the S222 Moto Cross is tailored for countryside adventures. Both models are lightweight and highly maneuverable, making them ideal for navigating through city traffic or rough terrains. With their 4.3 kWh batteries, riders can enjoy a range of over 130 km on a single charge, striking a balance between weight and battery life. Olivier Motor Co utilizes high-energy density cells in their battery packs, ensuring optimal performance.
One of the notable features of these motorcycles is the built-in gearbox and clutch, which is unusual for electric bikes. This unique powertrain, coupled with a synchronous motor featuring internal permanent magnets and water cooling, provides impressive torque and power. The motor is encased in a durable and lightweight aluminum casing, crafted from a solid block of material. The S222 model can reach speeds of up to 139 km/h when pushed to its limits.
Both the S222 Supermot and Moto Cross models are equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and a multi-disc oil bath clutch. An advanced energy recovery system allows the batteries to recharge while decelerating or braking, offering strong engine braking similar to traditional motorcycles.
The motorcycles feature a lightweight 6061 aluminum perimeter chassis, along with a Fastace inverted fork and a mono rear shock absorber, both adjustable for compression and rebound. The braking system includes floating discs and Nissin clamps, with an optional Motomaster brake kit available. The wheels are fitted with CNC-cut aluminum hubs and 7075 aluminum rims, and tire specifications vary between the models.
Olivier Motor Co takes pride in developing and producing its own batteries. The S222 models are equipped with a battery pack containing 270 high-density Molicel cells. The pack is securely housed within a waterproof aluminum box directly attached to the chassis. A specially designed battery controller manages various functions such as charging, discharging, thermal control, and cell balancing.
To ensure optimal performance and temperature regulation, the battery is immersed in a specialized coolant unique to this model. The 4.3 kWh lithium-ion battery offers a range of up to 130 km in city driving, 4 hours during enduro rides, or 1 hour on a cross track, depending on external conditions and driving style.
Charging the S222 is convenient as it supports up to 3.3 kW and is compatible with European public terminals using type 2 sockets, as well as domestic EV charging stations. Recharging from 10% to 80% can be accomplished in less than an hour using these terminals.
The motorcycles are priced as follows:
- Olivier S222 Supermoto: €17,594
- Olivier S222 Moto Cross Electric: €16,657
Deliveries of the motorcycles are scheduled to begin in March 2024.
Quite right! It seems to me it is very excellent idea. Completely with you I will agree.
