Building on the success of the BMW CE 02, BMW Motorrad continues its commitment to electric motorcycles with this trend-setting and dynamic parkour that promises an exhilarating ride through the city streets.

A Progressive Design with Personalization Options

The BMW CE 02 represents a new era for BMW Motorrad, appealing particularly to young riders who seek an electric vehicle that stands out from the crowd. It defies traditional categories, as it is neither an e-motorbike nor an e-scooter but a unique parkour. Its design is focused on urban practicality, combining nimbleness, durability, and minimalist aesthetics. The BMW CE 02 features large wheels that not only ensure robustness but also deliver an enjoyable riding experience across various terrains. The frame, wheels, front fender, and triple clamp fairing are elegantly black, creating a striking contrast with the granite grey metallic matt engine cover. For those who desire a more vibrant look, the special HIGHLINE version of the CE 02 boasts gold-anodized forks and a tape design in combination with Petrol as a contrasting color, making a bold statement even at a standstill.

Powerful Performance and Practical Range BMW CE 02

The BMW CE 02 offers two performance variants to cater to different rider preferences. Riders aged 16 and above can experience the CE 02 with a maximum power output of 11 kW (15 hp). Additionally, a 4 kW (5 hp) version limited to 45 km/h complies with AM driving license requirements, allowing riders as young as 15 (and those with a car license) to enjoy its capabilities. The 11 kW version delivers quick acceleration, providing a dynamic riding experience with a top speed of 95 km/h. With a range exceeding 90 km (according to WMTC, 11 kW version), riders can embark on extended urban adventures without concerns of running out of power. Weighing only 132 kg (11 kW version) or 119 kg (4 kW version) and featuring a low seat height of 750 mm, the CE 02 offers agile and playful handling characteristics.

Standard and Optional Riding Modes BMW CE 02

The BMW CE 02 comes equipped with two standard riding modes: “Flow” and “Surf.” “Flow” mode offers optimal settings for smooth cruising in urban traffic, while “Surf” mode delivers a more dynamic riding experience beyond the busy city streets. For those seeking an even more sporty edge, the optional “Flash” riding mode is available as part of the HIGHLINE package or as an original BMW Motorrad accessory.

Convenient Charging Solutions

Charging the CE 02 is hassle-free and flexible. It comes standard with an external charger, providing a charging power of 0.9 kW, enabling quick and convenient charging at standard household sockets. For faster charging, the optional quick charger with 1.5 kW charging power (available for the 11 kW version) is offered as part of the HIGHLINE package or as an original BMW Motorrad accessory.

Sturdy Chassis and Enhanced Safety Features

The BMW CE 02 features a sturdy chassis with a torsionally rigid double-loop frame made of tubular steel. It is equipped with hydraulically damped telescopic forks at the front and a single-sided swingarm with a directly pivoted shock absorber at the rear, ensuring responsive handling and stability. The cast light alloy wheels with wide tires provide a confident grip, and reliable deceleration is ensured by the disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. The BMW Motorrad ABS enhances safety at the front.

Connected Cockpit and Smart Features

Inside the CE 02’s cockpit, a user-friendly TFT display provides clear and essential information, including riding speed and battery charge status. Additionally, a USB-C charging socket enables convenient smartphone charging on the go. By utilizing the BMW Motorrad Connected app, riders can monitor the predicted end of charging and access other connectivity features, similar to the functionality offered in the BMW CE 04. In the HIGHLINE variant, the BMW CE 02 supports cradle mode, enabling riders to safely control the BMW Motorrad app on their smartphone, mounted on a smartphone holder, using the handlebar keypad. The BMW Motorrad Connected Services, included in the HIGHLINE package, allow users to check the charging status and access other CE 02 motorcycle information through the app, anytime and anywhere.
