The Failure of Alrendo Motorcycles

In 2023, Alrendo Europe ceased trading operations due to complications arising from their partnership with Alrendo Motorcycles China. The previous year, Alrendo Europe ordered 3 containers of motorcycles from Alrendo China but only received 2. Currently, Alrendo China is selling the TS Bravo model on Alibaba. Furthermore, Alrendo Europe did not receive any spare parts from Alrendo China, causing difficulties in maintaining the motorcycles already sold in Europe. To meet demand, the distribution warehouse in Prague used 3 new motorcycles and 2 used ones for spare parts. This issue has made it challenging to supply dealerships with the necessary spare parts. The Alrendo.com domain will soon serve as an e-commerce platform where existing customers from Alrendo can purchase spare parts. The goal is to launch the platform by May 2024, although this date is subject to change due to the need for new suppliers to provide certain parts.

Connor McRae, formerly the Head of Europe for Alrendo and now the Director of Europe for Rezon, expressed disappointment, saying, “We deeply regret and feel saddened by the painful end of our cooperation with Alrendo China, but it has provided us with valuable knowledge to start our own project, learning from our ex-business partner’s mistakes. The demand for a motorcycle in this segment is still strong, and it has been frustrating not to be able to deliver what we expected.”

Rezon Motorcycles Emerges

As Alrendo Europe came to a close, a new motorcycle brand emerged: Rezon Motorcycles. It wasn’t just Alrendo Europe that severed ties with Alrendo China; the creator and designer of the TS Bravo also departed to establish Rezon, along with a team of technicians and the Business Development director.

Jan Vrana, the Business Director of Rezon Motorcycles, proudly announced the Rezon Bohemia, stating, “After more than 12 months of silence, I am pleased to announce the Rezon Bohemia. We have worked tirelessly to fill the market gap for a long-range, full-size electric motorcycle priced below 12,000 euros.”

Pre-orders and Delivery

Rezon is now accepting pre-orders, with the estimated delivery of the first motorcycles to customers in June 2024. Rezon Motorcycles invites everyone to stay updated with their latest developments and advancements by following them.

Guy Salens from THE PACK expressed relief and excitement, stating, “It was time to clarify the situation, and I was relieved to hear that the new team had found a solution: creating their own motorcycle company, Rezon Motorcycles, after cutting ties with Alrendo in China. After talking to Connor McRae (Director of Europe), it was comforting to know that they were taking responsibility for their European clients from ‘Alrendo.’ I can’t wait to test out the new Bohemia model in either Belgium or the Netherlands. We will keep you updated on our progress.”
